Get Your Feet Summer-Ready: A Simple Natural Foot-Care Routine

Sandals, holidays and barefoot days are back—but after months hidden inside socks and shoes, our feet may need a little extra care.

The good news? You don’t need a complicated pedicure. A few simple steps can help soften rough heels, remove dry skin and leave your feet looking and feeling beautifully refreshed.

Step 1: Soak and soften

Begin by soaking your feet in warm water for around 10 minutes. This softens hard, dry skin and makes it easier to exfoliate.smooth rough skin on feet with pumice stone

For an at-home spa moment, add a little Epsom salt to the water and take the opportunity to sit back and relax.

Step 2: Smooth rough skin

Once the skin has softened, gently work over dry heels and areas of hard skin with one of our natural foot-care tools.

Choose from our Pumice Foot File, Volcanic Pumice Foot Stone or natural pumice stones on a rope. They provide simple, reusable exfoliation without the need for plastic disposable foot files.

Use gentle circular movements and avoid broken, sore or sensitive skin. There’s no need to scrub too hard—a little regular care is far better than overdoing it in one session.

Step 3: Exfoliate and polish

Massage our Pink Grapefruit & Geranium Himalayan Salt Body Scrub over the feet and ankles.

Pink Himalayan salt helps lift away dull, dry skin, while the oils leave your feet feeling moisturised and smooth. The fresh grapefruit and geranium aroma adds an uplifting, summery touch.

Rinse well and pat your feet dry, remembering to dry carefully between the toes.

Step 4: Moisturise overnight

Finish with our rich Olive Oil Hand & Foot Cream.

Handmade with extra virgin olive oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and vitamin E, this intensive balm is designed for feet in need of extra care. Massage it into dry heels and soles before bed, then allow it to work overnight.

For a more intensive treatment, apply generously and pop on a pair of cotton socks.

Make it a weekly ritual

Repeat this routine once or twice a week and moisturise regularly between treatments. It’s a simple way to keep your feet soft, smooth and ready for every sandal, holiday and sunny-day adventure.
